سّیِدُ الاَنبیا نَبّیُ الله

Decorate his majlis
بِمَدیحِ عَلی، وَلِیِّ ا الله
By saying good things about Ali, valih of God.
تا نقشِ زمین بود و زمان بود ، علی بود
From when the soorat and peyvand of the earth bood, Ali bood,
تا صورت و پیوند جهان بود ، علی بود
From when the design of earth and time were, Ali bood
سلطانِ سَخا و کَرَم و جُود ، علی بود
The king who was valih and appointed, Ali bood,
شاهی که ولیّ بود و وصیّ بود ، علی بود
The sultan of generosity, giving, giving all to others, Ali bood
هم یوسف و هم یونس و هم هود ، علی بود
Adam, and ?, and Ayub and Idris,
هم آدم و هم شیث و هم اَیّوب و هم اِدریس
And Joseph and Jonas and Hud, Ali bood,
هم صالحِ پیغمبرِ و داود ، علی بود
Moses, and Jesus, Khezr, and Elias,
هم موسی و هم عیسی و هم خضر و هم اِلیاس
And Saleh the prophet, and David, Ali bood,
در قبله محمّد بُد و مسجود ، علی بود
The prostrating angels keh shod adam ze Ali shod,
مسجودِ مَلایِک که شد آدم زِ علی شد
When Mohammad was leading the prayer, Ali was prostrating?
بَر کُنگرهِ عرشˆ بیفزود ، علی بود
That Arefeh Sajad, the dirt on whose door is even precious,
آن عارفِ سجّاد که خاکِ دَرَش از قَدر
Whose strengthens?holds up? the columns of Arsh, Ali bood,
هم عابد و هم مَعبَد و مَعبُود ، علی بود
The first and the last, the zaher and the baten,
هم اوّل و هم آخِر و هم ظاهِر و باطن
The prayer, the place of prayer, and Mabood, Ali bood,
آن وجهˆ بیان کرد و بفرمود ، علی بود
The essence of what God said in surah Al-Hamd,
وَجهی که بیان کرد خداوندˆ در اَلحَمد
That essence that God said and instructed, Ali bood,
آن نُطق و فِصاحت که در او بود ، علی بود
Jesus was born and immediately preached,
عیسی به وجود آمد و فِی الحالˆ سُخن گفت
That speech and eloquence that was in him, Ali bood,
آن یار که او نَفسِ نَبی بود ، علی بود
To understand, listen to that “Your body is my body”,
آن" لَحمُکَ لَحمی" بِشِنو تا که بِدانی
That close friend who was the nafs of the prophet, Ali bood,
در مِصر بِفِرعون که بِنمود ، علی بود
Moses, and his cane, and the light from his hand, and prophet hood,
مُوسیا و عصا و یَدِ بیضا و نبّوت
Which was shown to Pharaoh in Egypt, Ali bood,
از رویِ یقین ، در هَمِه موجود علی بود
Having looked and seen in many directions,
چندانکه در آفاق نظر کردم و دیدم
I am convinced that in all creation, Ali bood,
آن نورِ خدائی که بَر او بود ، علی بود
The ring on the finger of Solomon…?
خاتمˆ که درانگشت ، سُلیمانِ نبی کرد
That light of God within it, Ali bood,
با احمدِ مُختار یکی بود ، علی بود
That popular King that during the night of Meraj,
آن شاهِ سَراَفرازˆ که اندر شبِ مِعراج
With Ahmad eh Mokhtar, was one, Ali bood,
از عَرش به فَرش آمد و بِنمود ، علی بود
The secret of the two worlds, the light of God,
سّرِ دو جهانˆ پَرتُوِ اَنوارِ الهی
Who came from Arsh to this world, and showed himself, Ali bood,
عارفˆ شُو کانˆ عابدِ معبود ، علی بود
That place where a grain of sherk, truly does not remain,
آنجا که جوئی شِرکˆ نَمانَد بِحقیقت
Then know that the worshipper and Mabood are Ali,
در پیشِ مُحمّد شد و مقصود ، علی بود
When Gabriel came from beside the unbounded Creator,
جبریلˆ که آمد زِ بَرِ خالقِ بیچون
to Mohammad, his destination was Ali,
میدان که یکی بود که بِنمود ، علی بود
Since believing in two is sherk in the Raheh Tawhid,
آنجا که دوئی شِرک بُوَد در رَهِ توحید
Know that the one who revealed himself, Ali bood,
کردَش صفتِ عِصمَت و بِستود ، علی بود
He who knows the Quran best, whom God in all the Quran,
آن کاشِفِ قرآن که خدا در هَمِه قرآن
Said was (the attribute/characteristic) sinless and respected, Ali bood
تا هستˆ علی باشد و تا بود ، علی بود
This is not Kofr, a speech of Kofr, this is not,
این کُفر نباشد ، سُخنِ کُفر نَه این است
Ta hast Ali bashad, va ta bood, Ali bood,
بَرکندˆ به یک حَمله و بِگشود ، علی بود
That fortress conqueror,
آن قلعه ُگشائی که درِ قَلعۀ خِیبَر
Who took the fortress of Khaybar in one strike, Ali bood,
تا کار نَشُد راستˆ نَیاسود ، علی بود
That popular king, who for the sake of Islam,
آنشاهِ سَراَفرازˆ که اَندَرˆ رَهِ اسلام
Ta kar nashod rast, did not rest, Ali bood,
بَرˆ خوانِ جهان پَنجه نَیالود ، علی بود
That fearless lion who from bareh tameh nafs,
آن شیرِ دلاور که زِ بَهرِ طَمَعِ نَفسˆ
bar khavan jahan panjeh nayalood, Ali bood,
کَاندَر رَهِ دینˆ احمدِ محمود ، علی بود
They will never be successful, those who have not seen
محمود نبودند مَر آنها که ندیدند
That on the path of religion, Ahmad and Mahmood, Ali bood
